| Unsafe Rental – Physical Assault & Abuse I lived at 13003 114 Avenue NW, Edmonton for a short time and feel it’s necessary to publicly warn others — ESPECIALLY WOMEN — about the landlord (a man named Jeremy, around 45 years old). During my stay, I personally witnessed Jeremy physically attack a female roommate in the middle of the night. This was not hearsay — I was in the home and saw it happen. It was terrifying and completely unacceptable. He also made se*ually inappropriate comments to me shortly after I moved in. He flirts aggressively with new female tenants and his behaviour escalates quickly. He drinks heavily every night, and his mood swings from quiet to loud, aggressive, and angry. There were also serious hygiene issues, including a bug infestation in the kitchen that was not disclosed. The overall environment was unsafe and unstable. I left after only a few weeks because I no longer felt safe. Jeremy is using that house to lure in women so he can exploit them. RENTER BEWARE I strongly urge anyone — especially women or vulnerable renters — to avoid this property.
