| Oceanview Summer House Rental in Oldtown Ladysmith; Utilities included; Fully furnished; Exact Dates Negotiable Available July 6th to Sept 30th. 1 month minimum required, preference given to someone wanting it for the full period. Possibility of starting July 1st. The house is a bright, complete home, that was entirely renovated in 2020 with new floors, appliances, and still holds on to its 1940s character. The kitchen includes a 5 burner gas stove and oven, microwave, large fridge, composite double basin sink with hose, and all cooking supplies (pots, cutlery, etc) are provided. Excellent Ocean views from the Island and kitchen sink, sometimes we even see whales. The living room has a fold out couch for those extra visitors, and the indoor fireplace unfortunately cannot be used. The bathroom is includes newer shower and washer/dryer (no tub). There is one bedroom on the main floor and 2 upstairs. The main floor bedroom includes 1 queen; bedroom 1 upstairs includes 1 queen; bedroom 2 upstairs includes 1 twin bed with a twin sized trundle and (if desired) 1 crib. The double French doors in the dinning room open to the backyard where the BBQ is under a covered patio with steps leading to a picnic table, patio set, and a custom built wood fired sauna and cold plunge. The expansive yard includes a diversity of fruit trees, garden herbs available for use, and cedar swing under the pear tree to enjoy your coffee. The drive way and street provide plenty of parking space. The property is located on Bayview, a quiet street, with gorgeous sea views. It is an easy 2 minute walk to Bayview Brewery, 10 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to downtown (bakery, butcher, banks, pub, & grocery stores), 10 minutes to Holland Creek Park, and Coronation Mall, and easy access to the highway. Utilities will be included in the price (heat/AC (heat pump), hydro, and high speed internet). This house would be perfect for folks looking for a longer vacation or to visit family. Pets on a case by case basis only (and will require a pet deposit). The basement will not be available and will be used for landlord storage. First month's rent plus a damage deposit $1,600 are required to secure rental. |
