| I am looking to assign the remainder of my lease this May. The room is located in a three bedroom, one and a half bathroom townhouse steps away from the Halifax Common. The rent is 1040 plus utilities. There is an in unit washer and dryer. Unfortunately pets are not allowed. I would prefer to assign my lease to a woman who is a student or a young professional since my roommates are both women. The lease is for a fixed term and ends at the end of August, but there may be the opportunity to renew with the landlord if you are able to secure new roommates. My current roommates will be moving out at the end of the term.
