| I am looking to rent out one of my spare rooms to one person on a short term/temporary basis as I plan to sell the house hopefully next Spring or Summer. I am trying to afford some work on the house itself before I list it (which I hope to do as unobtrusively as possible especially if people are living with me - we can discuss that if/when it comes up). I'm located up in Whitehills and near a bus stop that goes straight to Western. I have two rooms available to choose from - one blue room on the second floor that is not furnished, and one room in the basement that is fully furnished with a vanity, bed frame and mattress, two wardrobes, and two nightstands. The basement room also has a full sized fridge in the utility room right outside of it that you can have all to yourself & can live in relative privacy. If you wanted the furniture in the basement to be moved upstairs to use that room instead, we would need help moving it as it is heavy solid wood. About me - I work from home, am physically/multiply disabled, and very neurodivergent. I'm pretty laid back in personality though I have been known to play video games socially late at night, but I can adjust/will be mindful of my loudness if the hours are inconvenient. Cleaning is unfortunately very hard for me to do for many reasons so I would appreciate some help with keeping house but it isn't a hard requirement. Non-smoking required, quiet & clean tenant preferred, no gender or age preference but LGBTQ+ friendly would be lovely. Pet friendly so long as your furbabies can cope with my very friendly & energetic small dog. We've had dogs & cats living with us before and she's not very territorial. A cat litter box would need to be kept out of her reach somehow, either up high or on the other side of a gate or something. Hoping for $800/month rent all inclusive but I am willing to negotiate on price. Ample parking available but no garage.
