One room available, (upstairs/second floor), and one parking space available, (in back/off back lane, and also in front on street). Intended and best suited for single occupancy, (smaller furnished room, perfectly ideal for one single student or working professional). Room includes closet and shelves, queen bed and bedding, desk and chair, dressers and drawers, mirror, lamp, TV, mini fridge, trash can, step stool, laundry hamper, and hangers, and has ceiling light with fan, and window with blinds. Homeowners/Landlords are hardly ever home, so the renter would also get the added benefit of having almost the entire house all to themselves the majority of the time, (basically almost like whole-house rental). Vickers St. S. between Arthur St. E. and Victoria Ave. E. Very convenient central location, close to everything you need; Shoppers Drug Mart, Centennial Square, Renco Family Foods Grocery Store, Dollarama, Victoriaville Mall, Fort William Gardens, several parks and coffee shops and stores, restaurants, churches, walk-in clinics, bus stops, and more, all just around the corner, approx. only 5-10 minute short walk from the house, (perfect for non-drivers and drivers alike). Also, approx. only 2.7 km (6 min. drive) from Intercity Shopping Centre, 3.9 km (7 min. drive) from Confederation College, 5.7 km (10 min. drive) from Lakehead University, 6.8 km (11 min. drive) from the Hospital, and 5.3 km (9 min. drive) from the Airport. * ANIMAL-LOVERS ONLY. * We are animal-lovers, and we have our various beloved pets with us at the house, (large dogs, cats, ferrets, fish), as well as various pet-related items out everywhere around the house, (food dishes, water bowls, beds, blankets, toys, treats, bones, climbing posts, litter boxes, etc), so renters must be pet-friendly and love animals as well, as we are only wanting like-minded and compatible-vibe house-mates, and we will be looking and waiting for the right person/most compatible match in a house-mate and best over-all fit for the whole arrangement, so please do not even bother applying if you are not truly an animal person; thank you. (Regardless of this, the house is still clean and maintained in a tidy and orderly fashion). The renter will be sharing the house with three full-time resident cats who live there 24/7, and fish, so the renter must be a cat person at the very least; dogs and ferrets come and go with us and are not there very often. CATS MUST NEVER BE LET OUTSIDE, so extra special care must be taken when opening and closing doors/going in and out of the house, (easy to do, as we have porches with two doors). Other pets belonging to renters are welcome in our home, BUT, they absolutely MUST be peaceful and well-behaved with no/low prey-drive, so as not to pose any threat/danger to our pets, and, (depending on the pets), may likely need to stay in your room most of the time during the initial integration process in order to minimize stress and anxiety to all pets, (especially the cats), while everyone is adjusting to each other. RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, RELIABLE RENTERS ONLY. (Preferably a mature, mindful, trustworthy, kind, quiet, clean, considerate, conscientious student or working professional). ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE. Also NO vaping, drinking, drugs, partying, loud noise, people over, etc. Our rental is just for quiet use by one single renter only; we do not want other people/strangers coming and going in and out of our home. (A select few well-known highly-trusted temporary guests once in a while would be fine). $1000/MONTH. (Cost reflects unique advantage and convenience of almost whole-house occupancy, as we are rarely there, as well as the added benefit of ideal location so conveniently close to all amenities). Two people sharing the room could be a possible option under the right circumstances, and would be $1200/MONTH, in order to cover increased costs of additional utility useage by another person, causing higher bills.
