PRICE: $1,325 (utilities included and in unit laundry, and is wifi extra about $25 currently) RENT CONTROL: Yes LOCATION: Downtown core. near Yonge/College. Since it's downtown core it can be noisy from sirens / the downtown hustle & bustle, would need to be ok with that. RENTAL TERMS: Will be signing a roommate agreement with the main lease holder. RELATIONSHIP TO UNIT: Current tenant finding a roommate to share the space with AMENITIES: indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, equipt gym & aerobics room, rooftop, 24hr security Other perks: TTC at doorstep, 4min away from Dundas Square, 2min to College Park, which has Metro, Rexall, Dollarama, food court, Farmboy groceries, etc. 3min away from TMU, about 5-10min walking from UofT. Right in the heart of the city! Very vibrant area and there’s always lots to do. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Copy of official ID, First and last month's rent, Deposits (i.e key, elevator, last months), Signing roommate agreement, Proof of income /ability to pay rent, Landlord/roommate references (bonus but not needed) NOTES: Sound travels throughout the apt easily because of the layout so we all want to be mindful of that when making noise through the day. Also, this is the downtown core, while it’s very convenient for a lot of things it is also noisy and busy, you would need to be ok with living in the midst of this (there are some parks nearby but not the same as living in other places that are quieter, again this is about 5min from Dundas square). No pets or partners. The apartment is in the heart of downtown Toronto close to college station, where everything you could want is close by. I have lived with mixes of male and females in the past (a mix of introverts and extroverts), the ideal person for this room would be someone who respects privacy and values boundaries, open communication, kindness, and cleanliness. Ideally someone who is considerate, open-minded, and friendly! We can both keep to ourselves/get busy but I also like to socialize when we both have the capacity and make the house a home (but if you’re very busy that’s all good). My interests include: Art, drawing, music, exercising, exploring the city, movies, and board games! Would have to agree to do things like keep a weekly cleaning schedule, pitch in equally for cleaning supplies, take turns grabbing things, and to make sure we both feel safe and secure in our home. Otherwise, the best way to describe the house is chill/laid back/friendly. Def want to make the space as safe and warm for everyone as possible and are looking for someone with similar views on making that work.
