The house: The room is in my two bedroom home near downtown Ottawa (Parliament is 2.8 km from the house) and major transit hubs. The house is 1500sf and is a century home that was completely renovated in 2022, so it has the elegance and charm of a heritage house but has been updated with modern finishes and conveniences (like heated bathroom floors :). The house has an outdoor cedar sauna with cold plunge & shower, private backyard with gardens and fruit trees, front gardens, sunny and covered balconies, outdoor BBQ. The location: Only a few steps away from the house you'll find: a park, multiple grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants and bars; shopping (including excellent thrifting); multiple pharmacies; several major federal government offices; major train/bus stations; bike trails; beaches and more.
