| I am going on a trip in July and August and looking for you, a subletter, to turn my home into your home during these months! **Space** It is fully furnished, minus clothing and food to make room for your things. Some things may remain in out-of-the-way cupbaords but I am also open to discussing your specific needs. Generally everything is for you to enjoy and use as you see fit within norms of respect and care. There will be some toys you are welcome to use. All pots, utencils, tools, books, etc. are accessible. Move things around to suit your needs. I just ask for you to put them back at the end of your stay. Laundry is in the building’s basement. Various details: - High speed internet (400 Mbps) - Apple 5K Studio display - Herman Miller Embody chair - Three Home Pod Minis. - balcony at the front and fire escape you can hang out on too in the back. - Two authentic tatami mats and buckwheat pillows - Casper Wave Hybrid Snow Mattress (Queen) - Apartment runs depth of building so you get fantastic open air drafts when you open your windows. - Sun rises are wonderfully visible through the back windows. - You are invited to use spices and other provisions I leave out so long as any large amounts of use please replace, e.g. you finish all the nutritional yeast etc. -- small amounts here and there as needed you're welcome to! - Hand made bunk bed (twin size) and table - Lego, board games, and other toys you are welcome to use. Board games include Frost Haven, Scythe, Pandemic, Wing span, and more. - Smart lights everywhere . Control these with voice if you wish. Change brightness/colour/schedule etc. as you wish. I will leave instructions. **Location** Location is ideal. Across the street is a Bixi station. Two short blocks away is Parc Ave. bus that arrives frequently to take you downtown in about 10 minutes. Blue line Metro is a 10 minute walk. All of this assuming you even leave the neighboorhood of Mile End/Plateau which is bustling at all hours and emminently walkable. Oh and a 10 minute walk will get you hiking/escaping into the forests of Mt Royal. **You** Looking for mature respectful family, person, or couple. Dinner parties are fine. Kids are fine. Pets are not unfortunately (building rules + my kids have an allergy). Referrals or social media accounts would be welcome. I’d like to meet you in video chat or in person. **Me** I’m a laid back creative person that treats home like an art project (when I find the time…). Its a special space for me and I’m excited to host someone in it. **Other** My plants will need watering during the summer so I would be asking for 10 minutes of your time per week to do that. The earliest you could move in is July 1 and the latest you could leave is day of August 24. If you need up to August 31 we can discuss. **Cost** Asking $2250/mo. All utilities included. If leaving August 24 per my preference then August drops to $1670. Asking for $1000/mo deposit to be returned at end of stay. Negotiable. Payment can be made directly to me (e.g. not landlord) via e-transfer. |
