| Looking for a roommate to reside with myself in a 2 bedroom basement suite. The unit will become available on June 1st. The entire house is a 4 bedroom split house, but upstairs is currently occupied. Rent is $700/month (your portion). Included in the rent is all utilities and Sasktel fiber internet. Basement suite includes: 2 bedrooms A bathroom with a storage cubby and a shower A stove, sink, and some cupboard space. Shared laundry (high efficiency washer and dryer) A driveway that can fit 2 cars on it comfortably, but squeeze in 3. A shared garage A huge backyard with a fire pit and a back gate out into the adjacent Church’s parking lot Within less than a 5 minute walking distance of multiple bus stops, a school, a park, and a strip mall with various stores inside. Area is pretty quiet, and neighbors mostly keep to themselves. Some rules we have in the house is: Please no smoking INSIDE the house. We have permission from the landlord to smoke in the garage when it is cold. Yes, that goes for cannabis as well. Smoke that outside. If you drink, no parties. People here do work at odd hours, and there is a child in the house. Must be ok with pets as I have a giant orange Norwegian Forest Cat. If you’re allergic, don’t bother applying. We all buy our own food and supplies. The exception being buying household items like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies. Things like that, which can be discussed ahead of time. Please provide the following: A previous reference from a roommate, or landlord if no roommates are applicable. Proof of employment PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO 2SLGBTQIA+ PEOPLE. I will reject your application if you are: Bigoted towards any marginalized group (because this is a 2SLGBTQIA+ household.) On any hardcore drugs If you are a heavy drinker |
