| Ideal location for students! Get moved in and settled before classes start up! I have one bedroom for rent in my house in Varsity View. (You have your choice of two options. One is furnished with double bed, desk, dresser, and the other is unfurnished.) Rent is 850$, and includes all utilities (fast wifi, but no cable included). Bathroom and kitchen shared between you and I. About the space: - quiet; ideal for mature students. No parties, drugs, smoking. - 10-12 minute walk to campus, grocery stores, and 15 minutes walk to Broadway and river walking trails! Ideal location! - cute older character home. Lots of charm, not a lot of closet and storage space - the house is fully furnished. If you choose the furnished room; just bring your personal items! - laundry is shared in the basement between one basement suite tenant, and myself - large yard with vegetable garden and plants. Lots of birds in the warmer months - occasional help with yard and snow maintenance would be appreciated. About you: - quiet student or professional. - tidy - comfortable with shared kitchen and bathroom spaces - comfortable with a dog (but no other pets allowed at the moment) About myself: - female, late 30s teacher (I deal with students all day and often come home to enjoy my introverted tendencies and quiet. If you’re the type to need loud music or TV as background noise, or you’re moving in looking for a social/party house, this may not be the roommate situation for you) - tidy - I have a small senior dog (she mostly sleeps all day, but loves everyone and is usually very content to receive attention) - once a week, I teach a few piano lessons from home (currently 2, would teach no more than 4). - I enjoy travelling, enjoying the garden and back yard, music, and photography. Available September 1, or possibly August 15. One year lease, damage deposit (equal to one months rent, due in full within 60 days of move in), and references required.
